You are probably here because you are searching ‘What should I pack in my hospital bag?’ And you have probably already scrolled through 400 TikToks telling you that ‘YoU dOn’T NeEd tO BrInG VeRy MuCh’, which is my least favorite advice.
You are preparing to bring a new life into this world, and suddenly, everyone is telling you to just show up with the clothes on your back. Absolutely not!
I am an over-packer and proud of it. I want to be prepared for anything at all times. Plus, who’s it going to hurt if I end up not using any of it?

I created a list of the items I packed for when I went to the hospital to deliver my daughter as a first-time mom. Keep in mind that the specific items you need may vary based on the type of hospital stay (e.g., surgery, childbirth, illness, NICU). Don’t stress though, you can always doordash products, amazon packages or send someone to target if you forget something!
