Whether you’re looking for a spot close to home or want to try something new across town, we’ve rounded up some of the best splash pads across the Kansas City metro—organized by location so it’s easy to find one near you.

🏙️ Kansas City, MO + The Northland

Dagg Park Splash Pad (North Kansas City)
A local favorite with colorful spray features and adjacent playgrounds. Free to the public with shaded seating nearby.  Hours: Splash pad open daily from 10 A.M. – 8 P.M. — due to weekly maintenance, the splash pad doesn’t open until 1 P.M. on Mondays.

Zona Rosa’s Central Park
While it’s more of a public fountain and event space, families often stop by to cool off in the water features on hot days. Great for shopping days with littles.
Hours: Splash pad open daily from 9 A.M. – 8 P.M.

🌳 Johnson County, KS

Wilder Bluff Park
The park has treetop canopy playground, a hillside slide, and a 1.38-mile nature trail, making it a perfect spot for families seeking both water fun and outdoor adventure.
Hours: Splash pad operates daily from 10 A.M. – 8 P.M.

Thompson Park (Overland Park)
Right in downtown OP, this small splash pad is perfect for younger kids. Pair it with lunch nearby or a stop at the library.

Roe Park (Overland Park)
One of the best all-around parks in JoCo. It has a large splash pad, huge playground, and trails—great for an all-day outing.

Erfurt Park (Shawnee)
Tucked away in western Shawnee, this hidden gem has a fun splash pad and scenic walking trails.

A well-maintained splash pad next to a playground and large open fields. Great for toddlers and elementary-aged kids.

Lake Olathe Sprayground (Olathe)
Part of Lake Olathe’s beautiful recreation area, this sprayground includes interactive fountains and water tunnels. Don’t forget a stop at the lake beach or boat rentals!

Eisenhower Park Splash Pad (Blue Springs)
This popular splash pad includes a variety of sprays, dumping buckets, and a shaded seating area.

Burrus Old Mill Park (Blue Springs)
A peaceful park with a smaller splash pad—ideal for toddlers or quiet afternoons.

Miller J. Fields Park (Grandview)
Fully renovated with a new splash pad, great playground, and restrooms. Perfect for younger kids.

A neighborhood favorite with a simple splash area and surrounding green space.

Ruth Moore Park (Raytown)
A great option for Raytown families—features a basic splash pad and nearby picnic shelters.

Lea McKeighan Park (Lee’s Summit)
One of the best all-in-one parks in Lee’s Summit. The splash pad is part of a larger playground area and has seating and bathrooms nearby.

T.B. Hanna Station (Raymore)
Charming downtown Raymore spot with a train-themed splash pad that’s a hit with little ones.

Final Tips Before You Go
