Dagg Park Splash Pad (North Kansas City)
A local favorite with colorful spray features and adjacent playgrounds. Free to the public with shaded seating nearby. Hours: Splash pad open daily from 10 A.M. – 8 P.M. — due to weekly maintenance, the splash pad doesn’t open until 1 P.M. on Mondays.
Zona Rosa’s Central Park
While it’s more of a public fountain and event space, families often stop by to cool off in the water features on hot days. Great for shopping days with littles.

🌳 Johnson County, KS
Wilder Bluff Park
The park has treetop canopy playground, a hillside slide, and a 1.38-mile nature trail, making it a perfect spot for families seeking both water fun and outdoor adventure.

Thompson Park (Overland Park)
Right in downtown OP, this small splash pad is perfect for younger kids. Pair it with lunch nearby or a stop at the library.

Roe Park (Overland Park)
One of the best all-around parks in JoCo. It has a large splash pad, huge playground, and trails—great for an all-day outing.

One of the best all-in-one parks in Lee’s Summit. The splash pad is part of a larger playground area and has seating and bathrooms nearby.
