As a new mom, I know how important it is to have EASY and affordable meals during those first few months. And getting into that routine has been a game-changer for our family. I didn’t have the mental capacity to figure out dinner every day, so having a list of quick & easy crock pot recipes has been life-changing – seriously!
This is THE easiest pot roast you will ever make! Plus, it’s delicious – your entire family will be asking for seconds – trust me!
I think my husband and I had this once a week for the first 6 months of our daughters life!

Ingredients –
-
Chuck Roast
-
1 Packet – Ranch Seasoning
-
1 Packet – Brown Gravy
-
1 Packet – Onion Soup Mix
-
1/2 Jar of Pepperoncini (include juice)
-
Sesame Seed Hoagie Buns or Hawaiian Roll Buns – we swap between both all the time!
Directions –
Turn crockpot on low
Set thawed chuck roast into the crockpot
Dump ranch seasoning, brown gravy and onion soup mix on top of the chuck roast.
Pour the pepperincinis on top – don’t forget to include some juice!
Let it cook on low for 8-10 hours
Shred the meat with 2 forks when it starts to fall apart.
And that’s it – super easy!

The best thing about this meal is that everyone will get a warm sandwich even if we are not all able to sit down together. That is just the reality of the young babies stage. Sometimes one person is giving a bath or rocking a tired baby to sleep while the other is able to eat real quick!
My kitchen may not be aesthetically pleasing like all of the other food bloggers out there, but honestly, my goal is to simply be relatable! I know a lot more of my followers have kitchens like mine. You don’t have to have an upscale granite kitchen to make greaaat food!
Does your family have any go-to favorite family meal recipes?
